Design computation has been a rapid-growing interest of mine. Starting from the curtain wall study during my preceptorship year, I have witnessed the potency of advanced digital tools. Environments like Revit, Grasshopper in Rhino, and now Dynamo are starting to pipeline architectural production like nothing before. By scripting modeling, the designer also gains access to many inner modules of these software, usually through API. This enables solutions that precisely capture the geometries of forms and objects. Later these forms can be better translated into material reality because of their clear definition and rigorous generative logic.

Currently I am the specialist designer for REACH, Pelli Clarke Pelli Architects' in-house R&D group. It explores, investigates, and assists implementations of emerging digital tools as well as disruptive technologies.
